Alimentato dal bus vuol dire che prende quello che gli serve dal laptop invece che da un alimentatore a muro, quindi non c'è niente in più da portarsi dietro e niente da collegare a destinazione. Il compromesso è che gestisce uno schermo invece di due.
Il cavo integrato è corto di proposito, così sparisce dietro la macchina invece di arrotolarsi sulla scrivania. Se ti servono due monitor o un alimentatore dedicato, quello da guardare è il dock a dodici porte.
