サテンは一度跡が付くと、レザーのようには戻りません。初めて履く前に保護剤で処理し、濡れた路面は避けてください。フットベッドは細めから標準の幅で、レザーと違ってアッパーは幅広の足に合わせて伸びることはありません。
ソールはレザーで、ヒールの先にラバーのトップリフトが付いています。最初にすり減るのはこのトップリフトで、靴修理店ならごく安く交換できます。別売りにせず予備を箱に入れているのは、そのためです。
