Product details
Description
A packable quilted liner that wears alone in town and zips into the shell when the weather turns.
Sixty grams of fill is deliberately modest: enough to take the edge off a cold morning, little enough that the liner still fits inside the shell without binding across the shoulder.
Synthetic rather than down, so it keeps working when it is damp and washes at home. It packs into its own pocket for a bag, and it is cut slim, so size up if you plan to wear it alone over a sweater.
It zips into the 3L Shell, which turns two garments into three — liner alone, shell alone, or both together as a winter jacket. That only works if the liner is cut slim, which is the reason it is.
Recycled polyester fill loses a little loft over years of compression and, unlike down, cannot be re-lofted by washing. The other side of that trade is that it dries in an afternoon and does not care about rain.

Fit notes
Slim, so that it fits inside the shell. Worn alone over a sweater, size up. The two are cut to work together at the same nominal size, so if you buy both, buy them matched rather than sizing the liner down to be safe.
Care and safety
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low with a couple of dryer balls to break the fill back up. Take it out fully dry, because synthetic fill left damp goes flat and holds a smell. Store it uncompressed over summer rather than stuffed into its own pocket.

Clear details for Calloway Quilted Liner
I chose Calloway Quilted Liner after comparing the practical details instead of relying on the product photo alone. Two facts were especially useful: fit notes — Slim, so it fits under a shell. Wearing it alone over a sweater? Size up; and materials — 100% recycled polyester shell and fill. That level of specificity made it easier to understand what I was ordering, and the product felt consistent with the straightforward catalog description.
A considered everyday choice
The information for Calloway Quilted Liner answered the questions I had before ordering. The catalog gives two useful references: fabric composition — 100% recycled polyester; and care instructions — Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low with dryer balls to break up the fill. Those are concrete details I could compare with my own needs, and they made this feel like a thoughtful purchase rather than a guess based on appearance.
Useful product information
What stood out about Calloway Quilted Liner was how much useful product information was available. I paid particular attention to closure: Front zip. I also checked dimensions: See size chart — body circumferences and garment length, in inches; packs to 9 × 6 × 5 in. Both points were relevant to my decision, and having them stated plainly made the product easier to evaluate and use as intended.
The practical details helped
I appreciated that Calloway Quilted Liner came with practical facts rather than vague promises. Two catalog details stood out: included items — Calloway Quilted Liner; and country of origin — Vietnam. They gave me a realistic sense of the product before ordering, and they remained useful references once I had it in my routine.
Well described and easy to assess
For Calloway Quilted Liner, the deciding factor was the clarity of the catalog description. It records warranty — 2 years against manufacturing defects; and fit notes — Slim, so it fits under a shell. Wearing it alone over a sweater? Size up. That made comparison simple and set sensible expectations. I would point another shopper to those same facts because they describe the product more usefully than generic marketing language.
