Three large muslin swaddles in GOTS-certified organic cotton. They get softer with every wash and are big enough to still be useful as a pram cover later.
Muslin is a loose open weave, which is what lets a swaddle be warm without being airtight and why it softens every wash instead of wearing thin. GOTS certification covers how the cotton was grown and processed, not only the fibre itself.
At 47 inches square they are large enough to swaddle properly, which a surprising number of cloths sold as swaddles are not, and a wrap that pulls loose defeats the point. They go on to work as pram covers and floor blankets. Skip fabric softener, which coats the weave and closes it up.
