Description
Merino-blend crew socks with a reinforced heel and a seamless toe. Three pairs, one colourway.
Merino handles moisture and smell in a way synthetics do not, and the nylon is in there because pure merino wears through at the heel inside a season. The blend is the compromise that makes a running sock last.
A seamless toe removes the ridge that raises blisters on a long descent. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibre and stops the wool wicking, and that wicking is most of what you paid for.
Crew height is chosen for trail rather than road, because it is the length that keeps grit and seeds out of the shoe on an overgrown path. Three pairs in one colourway is deliberate, so a lost sock does not retire a pair.
Fifty-eight per cent merino is high enough to get the odour resistance and the temperature range, and the 40% nylon is what stops that becoming a sock with a hole in the heel by spring. The 2% elastane holds the arch band in place.

Care and safety
Machine wash warm, inside out, and tumble low. No fabric softener: it coats merino and stops it wicking, which is most of what you paid for. Turning them inside out matters more than it sounds, since the inside face is what holds the sweat and the skin oils.

Clear details for Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack)
I chose Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack) after comparing the practical details instead of relying on the product photo alone. Two facts were especially useful: materials — 58% merino wool, 40% nylon, 2% elastane; and dimensions — Crew height; sizes S/M/L. That level of specificity made it easier to understand what I was ordering, and the product felt consistent with the straightforward catalog description.
A considered everyday choice
The information for Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack) answered the questions I had before ordering. The catalog gives two useful references: activity — Trail running, Hiking; and care instructions — Machine wash warm, inside out. Tumble low. No fabric softener — it coats the merino and stops it wicking. Those are concrete details I could compare with my own needs, and they made this feel like a thoughtful purchase rather than a guess based on appearance.
Useful product information
What stood out about Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack) was how much useful product information was available. I paid particular attention to included items: 3 × pair of socks. I also checked country of origin: United States. Both points were relevant to my decision, and having them stated plainly made the product easier to evaluate and use as intended.
The practical details helped
I appreciated that Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack) came with practical facts rather than vague promises. Two catalog details stood out: warranty — 1 year; and product weight — 180 g. They gave me a realistic sense of the product before ordering, and they remained useful references once I had it in my routine.
Well described and easy to assess
For Summit Trail Running Socks (3-pack), the deciding factor was the clarity of the catalog description. It records materials — 58% merino wool, 40% nylon, 2% elastane; and dimensions — Crew height; sizes S/M/L. That made comparison simple and set sensible expectations. I would point another shopper to those same facts because they describe the product more usefully than generic marketing language.
