A slim horizontal bar, polished on the front and left matte behind. Solid 14K, engravable.
The back is left matte because that is the face an engraver works on, and a polished surface would show every pass of the tool. The two finishes are a decision rather than an omission.
It adjusts between 16 and 18 inches, which covers a collarbone length and a slightly lower drop from the same chain. The alloy rules are the same as for any 14K piece: chlorine off, cloth on.
