Product details
Description
A bias-cut silk camisole with adjustable straps. Wears under a blazer or on its own.
Cutting on the bias runs the grain diagonally across the body, so the cloth moves with you without any stretch fibre in it. French seams enclose every raw edge, which is what stops a fine silk fraying at the side seam.
It layers under a blazer and holds its own without one. Nineteen momme is substantial for a camisole, but the ivory is still slightly sheer, and silk wants a cool hand wash rather than a machine.
Momme measures the weight of silk, and 19 is roughly where a camisole stops being a lingerie weight and starts being outerwear. Much below 16 and the side seams read through a fitted blazer.
Silk is a protein fibre, so it reacts to perspiration and deodorant gradually rather than all at once. Wash it after two or three wears rather than at the end of a season, and keep it off a wire hanger, which marks the shoulder.

Fit notes
The bias cut skims rather than clings. Between sizes take the smaller, because the bias gives and a camisole cut generously loses the line entirely. The straps adjust by about two inches, which covers most differences in torso length.
Care and safety
Hand wash cool with a silk detergent, or dry clean. Line dry in shade and cool iron on reverse. Wash it after two or three wears rather than at the end of a season, because silk is a protein fibre and takes lasting damage from perspiration and deodorant left sitting in it.

Clear details for Sable Silk Camisole
I chose Sable Silk Camisole after comparing the practical details instead of relying on the product photo alone. Two facts were especially useful: fit notes — Bias cut skims rather than clings. Between sizes, take the smaller — the bias gives; and materials — 100% mulberry silk. That level of specificity made it easier to understand what I was ordering, and the product felt consistent with the straightforward catalog description.
A considered everyday choice
The information for Sable Silk Camisole answered the questions I had before ordering. The catalog gives two useful references: fabric composition — 100% mulberry silk, 19 momme; and care instructions — Hand wash cool with silk detergent, or dry clean. Line dry in shade. Cool iron on reverse. Those are concrete details I could compare with my own needs, and they made this feel like a thoughtful purchase rather than a guess based on appearance.
Useful product information
What stood out about Sable Silk Camisole was how much useful product information was available. I paid particular attention to closure: Pull-on, adjustable straps. I also checked dimensions: See size chart — body circumferences and garment length, in inches. Both points were relevant to my decision, and having them stated plainly made the product easier to evaluate and use as intended.
The practical details helped
I appreciated that Sable Silk Camisole came with practical facts rather than vague promises. Two catalog details stood out: included items — Sable Silk Camisole; and country of origin — China. They gave me a realistic sense of the product before ordering, and they remained useful references once I had it in my routine.
Well described and easy to assess
For Sable Silk Camisole, the deciding factor was the clarity of the catalog description. It records warranty — 1 year against manufacturing defects; and fit notes — Bias cut skims rather than clings. Between sizes, take the smaller — the bias gives. That made comparison simple and set sensible expectations. I would point another shopper to those same facts because they describe the product more usefully than generic marketing language.
